IF IT RAINS ON COMMUNITY SERVE DAY, this project will still take place.

San Diego Rescue Mission strives to spread the good news of salvation through Christ through serving the needs of the poor, addicted, abused and homeless. This Community Serve Day, join us as we assemble personal hygiene kits to be distributed through the Mission to men, women and children on Easter Sunday.

If you would like to gather items to donate for the kits, here is the Rescue Mission's wish list (trial size/new only please): soap, shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, razors, shaving cream, baby powder, foot powder, lotion, sanitary napkins, toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, crayons, coloring books and small (travel-size) toys. Fleece fabric in 2 yards increments are also needed. We like to do a pattern on one side and a solid on the backside.  Wal-Mart typically has the best prices on fleece fabric or you can conveniently order fabric on our Amazon Wish List of Donation Needs for Community Serve Day.  Here's the link:

Drop off locations for these items can be found on the patio on Sunday mornings, the church office, SBPC Preschool office and top floor of the Children's Ministries building.

All ages are welcome, so this is a great family project!

Dress simply – your Community Serve Day T-shirt, jeans or shorts (you'll be indoors), and comfortable shoes. Don't forget to bring some water!
