IF IT RAINS ON COMMUNITY SERVE DAY, this project will still take place!

The Community Resource Center provides families in need and victims of domestic violence with safety, stability and a path to self-sufficiency. As the only provider of social services and domestic violence programs in coastal North County San Diego, Community Resource Center (CRC) serves more than 2,900 households annually, equating to over 11,000 (4,000 children) individuals. Although other organizations offer services for either domestic violence victims or low-income households, CRC links both unique populations with housing solutions and wrap-around services that offer a tangible opportunity for independence. CRC is dedicated to helping women and children, individuals, and families live safe, self-sufficient lives by providing critical assistance in the areas of domestic violence services, food programs, and emergency and transitional housing assistance.

This Community Serve Day we will deep clean shelving, floors, coolers, and windows throughout food distribution and storage rooms.

Minimum volunteer age is 10.

Dress for a morning indoors cleaning and sorting – your Community Serve Day T-shirt, pants that you can get dirty, and comfortable, closed-toe shoes. Don't forget to bring some water!

A waiver will be available on-site and children must be accompanied by a parent.
